چکیده
Between January 1991 and May 1994, 173 patients with head trauma were examined by CT in our dinic their results evaluated retrospectively. 92 (53.2 %) cases normal, 42(24.2 had more than one pathologies.
It's conduded that is an efficient imaging technique especially acute cases, due to it's rapid, noninvasive reliable diagnostic accuracy.

متن کاملbrain single photon emission computed tomography in anosmic subjects after closed head trauma
anosmia following head trauma is relatively common and in many cases is persistent and irreversible. the ability to objectively measure such a decline in smelling, for both clinical and medicolegal goals, is very important. the aim of this study was to find results of brain single photon emission computed tomography (spect) in anosmic subjects after closed head trauma. this case-control cross s...

results loss of consciousness (gcs drop or amnesia) was markedly associated with abnormal brain ct scan (p < 0.05). interestingly, we found 7 patients with normal clinical examination but significant abnormal brain ct scan. conclusions according to the results of our study, we recommend that all patients with minor head trauma underwent brain ct scan in order not to miss any life-threatening he...
متن کاملComputed tomography and thin-section tomography in facial trauma.
The efficacy of radiographic methods in detecting and classifying facial fractures was assessed. Thirty-one patients with maxillofacial trauma were studied with plain radiography, coronal and lateral pluridirectional tomography (PT), and axial and direct coronal computed tomography (CT). PT and CT were compared to assess how many fractures each method could demonstrate. In addition, plain films...
